This month, we return to 4D:

This is the bidecachoron, the dual of the bitruncated 5-cell. It is bounded by 30 congruent tetragonal disphenoids, 60 congruent isosceles triangles, 40 edges, and 10 vertices.

Find out more in the bidecachoron page! As usual, full algebraic coordinates are provided.

This month, we return to 3D and present a pretty important Catalan solid:

The Rhombic Triacontahedron

This is the rhombic triacontahedron, the dual of the icosidodecahedron. It is bounded by 30 rhombuses whose diagonals have the ratio 1 : φ, 60 edges, and 32 vertices. Being the dual of a quasi-regular polyhedron, it is both face- and edge-transitive.

It also appears as the projection envelope of the castellated rhombicosidodecahedral prism, a 4D CRF polychoron that sports bilunabirotunda cells.

Find out more on the rhombic triacontahedron page! As usual, we provide full algebraic coordinates.

For the new year, we present the joined 120-cell:

The Joined 600-cell

This is a beautiful 4D Catalan polychoron bounded by 720 pentagonal bipyramids. It is the dual of the rectified 600-cell, and has 3600 isosceles triangles, 3600 edges, and 720 vertices. Find out more on the joined 120-cell page! As usual, full algebraic coordinates are provided.
